My type of Demons...
Ello everyone.
I am here talking about Demons like promised... Almost didn't because I wanted to take a nap instead, but apparently owning up to ones commitment is kind of important, so here I am.
Shall we?
Demons:
A demon is a monster created in hell to kill angels, and a added bonus was given to them: If they drink angel blood their power grows to dangerous levels.
But, first they must go through The Angels guards: Demon Hunters. But, sometimes it's rather easy.
Demons are lengthy, their bodies created by darkness and negative energy with small hints of light within. They usually run around on four legs, their fingers long claws designed to shred through skin like melted butter.
(I didn't say 'like butter' because normal butter is actually really awkward to cut through, it's slow, and not easy..)
They like most creatures do require sustenance, in their case: Souls. Any kind of soul will do, but Human souls are the most... lets say: filling.
Other souls, like animal souls do give them an okay meal, but they're never satisfied, no matter how many they suck out of the creatures of the earth. But, a humans soul will not only satisfy them, but make them stronger. The more souls a demon eats the stronger they'll get, if eaten enough their bodies can mutate into more spikes on their bony spines, or a long spiked tail giving them an extra weapon to use to kill.
If a demon goes without food for too long, they slowly wither away. Become nothing but smoke. Like any other race, they must eat, but for Demons its a little more extreme: they're like a really, really bad battery, unable to hold charge for long, always needing more charge every few days. Unlike humans who are able to go without water for three days, but food: they can go for three entire weeks without it, but demons need at least one soul every four days.
There are different kinds of demons when it comes to authority, but it varies in power. Obviously, demons with tails are considered higher on the scale, whilst a demon that has drunk an angels blood even without a tail is a higher rank to that with a tail. For Demons, it's all about power. (Kind of similar to humans actually...)
There is a such thing as Demon kings, and demon princes, but they are far more rare, and less likely to be found on earth.

The Demons Nest:
The demons nest are consistent of long tunnels of black ooze, and bulging veins that traverse the entire home of the demon. Made from a type of parasite that specific demons carry inside them: they find a suitable area and more or less pukes their guts out and... dies.
That demons only purpose is to create the nest for many others, simple as that. If their is a king or a prince in the nest, the veins become a part of it, and the nest becomes its plaything that it can mold into many different shapes, and can create traps for trespassers.
These nests are usually found underground created by demons, but they can be found just about anywhere, it's just wiser to create it out of sight.
They usually smell of death, or a combination of rotten eggs, and dying flesh. The nest is normally created near ares that are largely populated by humans for easy, quick meals.

Demon techniques:
A demon will wait for hours once a human is found to walk a certain path. Once a human reaches them, the demon will strike, tackling the human, its claws digging into the flesh to hold him/her still. It will quickly dislocate its jaw and put the humans face into its mouth, out of fear the human will most likely be staring wide, trying to scream, trying to escape. But, then a bright white light will shine from deep within the demons throat into the humans frightened eyes, and suddenly it'll feel like you were about fall asleep, but you can't peel your eyes away. Once that has commenced, the demon will then breathe in, sucking your soul from you and out of your slacked jaw.
Soul sucked.
Cool huh? That light I talked about is there because Satan created these demons, but a part of his light was mixed with them, since he was once an angel so he still had his light (positive energy) and that light is now added and used to calm their victims. It can also be used to blind those if they make it a higher intensity. Have I said light enough?
How to kill a demon:
Demons are tough bastards, but are quite kill-able.
Given the right techniques and weapons, it's a simple task. Positive light will pretty much do the job if they're close enough: positive energy and the negative energy cancel each other out, which kind of kills both energies, which renders the demon dead since they're created out of mostly negative energy, and the small amount of positive energy inside isn't enough to stop the effects.
So, the Demon hunters have weapons equipped with positive energy that is given to them by the Elder Hunters. No one really knows how they get the positive energy, all the regular hunters know is that it is provided for all hunters by the Elders.
Knives will do it too, anything sharp: like most creatures if you tear them open, they'll most likely die.
In Demon hunters you'll learn far more about my type of demons, but there will be more books and demons will change: I already have a few ideas.
Tada! So, that's it for now. I'm gonna take that nap now... so
Ba bye!
